Additional Info

The journey begins in the Jemez Mountains, where pine forests, volcanic cliffs, and winding roads set a dramatic tone from the start. Steaming hot springs, narrow canyons, and high-elevation meadows give way to wide-open views as the route opens up. This is a fun, run-and-gun style tour, built around fast-flowing forest roads mixed with challenging sections that keep the riding engaging and dynamic.

From the Jemez, the route pushes north and west toward Abiquiu, following remote connectors and segments of the Backcountry Discovery Route across mesas and desert canyons. Our time within Ghost Ranch itself will be brief, passing through one of the region’s most iconic landscapes before continuing on. Supply runs and fuel stops will take place at Bode’s General Store, keeping the group light and moving. Riding ranges from intermediate to advanced, rewarding confident riders with big scenery, constant momentum, and a true sense of adventure.
